Let us help you answer your questions:

Why should I choose Calder Well Drilling over other companies?

We’re a local, family-owned company with over 20 years of experience working in Northern Minnesota. We understand the ground, the water systems, and what it takes to get the job done right the first time.

How do I know I’m getting a quality well?

We use high-quality materials and install everything properly, so your well is built to last. Our goal is simple: reliable water you don’t have to worry about.

How quickly can you get the job done?

We work efficiently without cutting corners. Job timelines depend on site conditions and scope, but we keep projects moving and prioritize customers who are without water.

How deep will my well need to be?

Well depth depends on location and water availability. Around Northern Minnesota, depths can vary, but we use our local experience to determine the best attempt for your property.

Do you handle pump installation and hookups?

Yes. We install and service pumps, pressure tanks, and complete water systems.

What happens to my old well?

Once your new well is operational, we can properly seal and abandon your old well according to regulations.

Do you offer repair or maintenance services?

Yes. We service existing wells, pumps, and water systems and can troubleshoot and repair issues.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Greenbush, Roseau, Grygla, Warroad, Baudette, and surrounding areas.

Why is my pressure switch clicking on and off fast?

This is usually caused by short cycling, most often due to a waterlogged or failing pressure tank, or a faulty pressure switch. Short cycling puts extra wear on your pump and should be addressed before it leads to bigger problems.

Why do I have low pressure?

Low pressure is commonly caused by issues such as a failing pressure tank, worn pump, clogged filter, leaks in the line, or mineral buildup restricting water flow over time.

Why does my pump keep running?

A pump that won’t shut off is usually not building enough pressure. This is often caused by a system leak, a worn pump, or a pressure switch that’s stuck or improperly set. This should be checked promptly, as continuous running can burn out the pump.

Why is my pressure so high?

High pressure is typically caused by a pressure switch problem, often related to a faulty pressure tank that prevents the switch from shutting off correctly. It can also occur if the switch is set too high. This should be repaired quickly to avoid plumbing damage or leaks.
